Marathon and Huckberry Make an Arctic White Navigator in Black CeraShell

collabs · marathon ·

Marathon built the Navigator in 1986 for pilots at Kelly Air Force Base, to MIL-PRF-46374 specs, and it usually comes in matte black or desert tan. This one has an Arctic white dial. The 41mm asymmetrical case is black CeraShell over a Swiss high-torque quartz movement, and the dial carries self-illuminating tritium gas tubes and an orange sweep second hand inside a bi-directional 12-hour GMT bezel. Whoever wears it will probably never fly anything, and will know that, but will like knowing what it was made for. Huckberry’s mark sits at nine o’clock beside Marathon’s tritium trefoil.
