JBL Revives the L150 as a Three-Way Walnut Floorstanding Speaker
JBL has revived the late-seventies L150 as a three-way floorstander above the L100 standmount in its Classic line. It comes in satin walnut veneer with a black Quadrex foam grille held on by magnets. Someone buying a speaker from a decade they may not remember wants the grille on for guests and off for themselves. The baffle holds a large white pure-pulp cone woofer and a dedicated midrange driver and a horn-loaded compression tweeter in an acoustic waveguide, with dual front-firing ports and high- and mid-frequency attenuators. It costs $9,999.
