Aston Martin has never made an open-cockpit, mid-engined car before, and now it has. The Valhalla Spider is the mid-engined Valhalla coupe with the fixed roof removed. Almost nobody who reads about it will drive one, and the few who do will mostly be watched while they do it. The powertrain stays mounted ahead of the rear axle and the two-seat layout is unchanged and there is no longer anything overhead. Aston Martin calls it the fastest roofless car it has built.
