Iron Heart’s winter Delivery 2 brings two olive jackets made in Japan. The N-1 deck jacket (IHM-53-ODG) keeps its corduroy collar and drawcord hem and angled patch pockets, but the cotton shell is lined with Ventile, a densely woven weatherproof cotton, in place of the usual pile. Owning the pile version and finding it too warm most of the year is now a reason to buy a second. The Modified Type III adds welt hand pockets to Iron Heart’s Type III pattern. It comes in 12oz sanforized whipcord in olive drab with a contrast corduroy collar (IH-526-ODG), and in khaki and black corduroy, on copper hardware.
